The Middle Fork of the Payette River offers canoeing, gentle kayaking, tubing, swimming, and fishing for your pleasure. Much of the river is located on federal land with numerous campgrounds available. Woods, wildlife, and solitude all abound.

The Payette River system offers whitewater classifications from I-IV. Commercial Outfitters take groups on day, full day, and overnight trips from Spring through Autumn.
